Tania has called the Peace Region home for over the last 20 years, bringing engineering expertise, creativity, and a passion for land restoration to Blackbird. A Professional Engineer, she has applied her skills to challenging projects such as developing and implementing a hydroseeding system to revegetate sites where traditional restoration methods had previously failed.
Tania is known for her kindness and her ability to tackle challenges in a creative, thoughtful way. She values the opportunity to engage in meaningful work, the balance between challenging projects and personal life, and a Blackbird culture that prioritizes well-being and positive relationships.
Outside of work, she enjoys fibre arts, world travel, gardening, and time in nature, and she has played violin since the age of three.
