Jordan Friesen brings curiosity, energy, and a passion for nature to Blackbird. Originally from Red Deer, Alberta, he enjoys exploring the natural world and applying science in practical ways. Jordan has an academic background in biology with a minor in chemistry.
At Blackbird, Jordan provides essential fieldwork and project support across a variety of initiatives and has been particularly proud to contribute to ongoing DRFN seismic line restoration projects. He values Blackbird’s inclusive, supportive culture, where teamwork and knowledge-sharing are central to every project.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys camping, hiking, cooking, and spending quality time with his family and pets.
