Originally from Chetwynd, BC, Franz brings energy, expertise, and a love of the outdoors to Blackbird. A Registered Professional Biologist and Professional Agrologist, he has over five years of experience on the Site C clean energy project, conducting pre-disturbance wildlife sweeps, bird nest risk assessments, and monitoring clearing and construction activities.
Franz values the supportive, hardworking Blackbird community, where collaboration and teamwork make every project a shared success. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active – whether hunting, skiing, hiking, playing sports, or tackling any challenge that lets him learn and improve – and cherishes time spent with his family.
