Originally from Red Deer, Alberta, Brenna joined Blackbird in spring 2024 after completing the Land and Water Resources program at Olds College and earning an education degree. A Registered Biology Technician and Articling Technical Agrologist, Brenna brings hands-on experience in both agrology and biology projects, from pre-construction assessments to wetland soil studies. She thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring others in the field, and values the variety of projects and learning opportunities Blackbird offers.
Outside of work, Brenna is an adventure-seeker and lifelong learner – whether hiking Machu Picchu solo, exploring the Galapagos Islands, summer kayaking on local lakes, or trying pottery at home. She shares her love of the outdoors with her partner, two cats (Pam and Poppy), and her dog, Tyrion.
