Originally from Invermere, BC, Georgia brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a love of wildlife – especially birds – to Blackbird. A Biologist in Training, she has field experience assisting with whitebark and limber pine restoration in the Rocky Mountains and previously spent three months in Madagascar monitoring lemurs, birds, reptiles, and amphibians as part of a forest conservation program.
Georgia values the friendly, supportive Blackbird community and the variety of projects that allow her to grow professionally. Outside of work, she enjoys birding, wildlife photography, pottery, expanding her houseplant collection, and exploring both new and favorite outdoor spots.
