Kristyn is Blackbird’s dedicated agricultural specialist, monitoring fields for wildlife impact and leveraging her GNSS and RPAS expertise. Hailing from Fort St. John with a rich agricultural background, her passion for farming began during summers on her grandparents’ farm in Saskatchewan. Prior to joining Blackbird, Kristyn gained experience in agricultural research, further deepening her understanding of crop systems.
Armed with a Diploma in Crop Technology and her Articling Technical Agrologist designation, Kristyn combines traditional agricultural knowledge with cutting-edge technology. She has a keen interest in both cultivated and native plants and thrives on applying innovative tools to support sustainable field management.
